Data Hatch is a UK consultancy serving mid-market clients across regulated industries. The founder currently runs all sales, and we already have a working outbound motion across email and LinkedIn generating consistent top-of-funnel. We're hiring our first dedicated phone caller to add a voice layer on top of it.
What you'll do:
You'll be the phone layer on an outbound machine that's already running. Every week we send ~100 personalised cold emails and LinkedIn touches into a curated account list. Your job is to call into those accounts — following up on opens, replies, and warm signals, and cold-calling the rest — to convert interest into 20-minute discovery calls with our founder. You won't be pitching or closing. You'll be opening doors with a sharp, credible point of view and getting the meeting on the calendar.
Day-to-day:
- 60–80 dials
- 8–15 conversations
- Working from Apollo lists enriched in Clay and tracked in Attio
- Call back email and LinkedIn replies
- Chase intent signals surfaced by our enrichment pipeline
- Run multi-touch sequences blending phone, email, and LinkedIn
Target is 8–12 qualified meetings booked per month.
You should have:
- 2+ years of B2B outbound calling experience, ideally into UK mid-market
- A track record of consistently booking 8+ qualified meetings/month from cold outreach
- Comfort speaking to senior commercial and operational leaders — directors, heads of, occasional C-suite at smaller firms
- Strong written English and the ability to write a personalised follow-up that doesn't sound like a template
- Self-direction — we're a small team and you'll own your pipeline end to end
Compensation:
£X base + uncapped commission per qualified meeting that converts to a paid engagement. OTE £Y. Equity considered for the right candidate after 6 months.
How to apply:
Record a 60-second voice note explaining what you'd say in the first 20 seconds of a cold call to a senior decision-maker at a mid-market business. The voice note matters more than the CV.
