This role is for a Business Analyst on an 18-month contract offering ÂŁ48,697.01. Key skills include Agile and Waterfall methodologies, stakeholder management, and experience in digital transformation. A Business Analysis Foundation certification is required. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Apply structured problem‑definition techniques and measure the current situation in specific business areas.
- Analyse and interpret complex business situations, discovering and mapping “as‑is” processes and potential “to‑be” improvements.
- Provide documentation support for requirements gathering, process analysis, gap analysis, and service re‑design.
- Challenge business requirements to champion customer experience and improve business efficiency and digital functionality.
- Translate functional requirements into clear, accurate, and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Act as a partner between business and technology teams, identifying links between requirements across departments and making recommendations on prioritisation and resourcing.
- Coordinate allocated projects, produce timelines, milestones, and schedules.
- Maintain project management tools, including RAID, change, and lessons‑learned reports.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in delivering digital solutions and new systems.
- Extensive experience in digital transformation programmes with a user‑centred design focus.
- Strong experience delivering Unified Communications and cloud‑based solutions in complex environments.
- Experience working across diverse technology solutions.
- Experience overseeing all facets of project management, ensuring effective planning, execution, and completion.
- Experience in multidisciplinary, agile teams and confident promotion of agile practices.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Leverage Lean and Agile qualifications.
- Ability to work with sensitive information, ensuring confidentiality.
- Build and maintain professional, trusting relationships with business colleagues, senior stakeholders, and IT.
- Experience with digital and collaborative tools such as Miro, JIRA, and project‑planning tools.
- Experience in creating and conducting end‑user testing on platforms.
- Business Analysis Foundation or equivalent certification.
