  • Produce and maintain architectural runbooks and decision logs.
  • Support transition from project delivery to steady-state operation.
  • Technical Leadership & Enablement
    • Provide technical leadership to Foundry Engineers and internal teams.
    • Review designs, code patterns, and delivery approaches.
    • Mentor engineers and uplift internal capability.

  • Deep understanding of modern data platform architecture concepts.
  • Strong background in:
    • canonical models

    • audit and assurance requirements
  • Leadership & Delivery
    • Proven experience leading technical teams in complex programmes.
    • Ability to balance delivery pragmatism with architectural integrity.
    • NHS or healthcare data platform experience.
    • Experience defining service models for data platforms (not just applications).
    • Familiarity with multi-tenant or multi-trust architectures.
    • Experience supporting board-level or senior stakeholder assurance discussions.
  • Security & Compliance Requirements
    • UK-based role.
