How you will contribute to transforming the smart energy network and shaping the future:
- Lead and manage a portfolio of strategic innovation projects, ensuring effective governance, delivery, reporting, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop and progress a pipeline of innovation opportunities aligned to Government, regulatory and customer priorities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with DESNZ, Ofgem, customers, industry bodies, technology partners and academic institutions.
- Collaborate across DCC's policy, strategy, technology and regulatory teams to develop future propositions that maximise the value of DCC's data and platform capabilities.
- Produce and deliver high-quality insight, recommendations and briefings for senior stakeholders, including the Executive Team, CEO and Board.
What you need to bring:
- Proven experience delivering complex projects and programmes, ideally within innovation, energy, technology or regulated environments.
- Strong strategic thinking capability with the ability to identify opportunities and develop practical solutions to complex challenges.
- Extensive knowledge of the UK energy market and the transition to a net zero energy system.
- Demonstrable experience building and managing successful cross-sector partnerships and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage at executive level.
