SummaryThe Project Manager, Installation will coordinate and oversee infrastructure installation projects within low-voltage environments. The role focuses on successful project delivery aligned with defined scopes, timelines, and budgets, emphasizing planning, documentation, technical coordination, and collaboration with team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage infrastructure installation projects, ensuring they adhere to scope, budget, and schedules.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, site details, floor plans, elevations, labeling documents, plug charts, and cut sheets.
Collaborate effectively with internal departments (procurement, logistics, engineering) for smooth project execution.
Monitor ongoing project activities, proactively addressing technical or logistical issues.
Support escalation processes for project-related emergencies or technical concerns.
Oversee installations, including cable routing, central, zone, and equipment footprints and elevations.
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure installation accuracy and compliance with standards.
Provide timely project status updates and ensure accurate submission of required documentation and test results.
Maintain accurate digital project records, aligning with organizational standards.
Generate regular project tracking reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Foster positive relationships within internal teams to facilitate effective communication and project success.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Provide guidance and oversight to installation technicians on project tasks.
Assist in scheduling and monitoring technician assignments for efficiency.

Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant project coordination or management experience, ideally in infrastructure or low-voltage installations.
Experience managing detailed project documentation and supporting multiple concurrent projects.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical capabilities.
Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with AutoCAD or Visio preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in hyperscale environments.
Experience managing General Contractor (GC) projects.
Proficiency with construction scheduling software.
Familiarity with Bluebeam software.
Education and Experience
Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant technical or management field.
Experience with infrastructure cabling installations and familiarity with standard testing procedures.
Communication Skills
Ability to effectively communicate technical details and project information to diverse internal teams.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and client satisfaction.
Working Conditions
Occasional travel to project sites (approximately 20–40% travel), including possible evenings or weekends based on project demands.
Availability for occasional after-hours support or escalation response.
