We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join a leading company specializing in heavy transport and installation solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing technical engineering solutions for a wide variety of client projects, ranging from quick turnaround assignments to long-term, multi-year ventures.

These solutions will include:

  • Technical drawings
  • Calculations
  • Risk assessments
  • Method statements

The role will require a good understanding of the company's equipment stock, selecting the most suitable resources for each project.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop engineering solutions based on clients' heavy transport and installation requirements, both on-site and in the office, including equipment allocation, procurement, and programming.
  • Develop comprehensive solutions that include technical drawings, calculations, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Produce design calculations and rigging studies to relevant standards.
  • Prepare and submit RAMs (Risk Assessment Method Statements) documentation for approval.
  • Determine required resources for each project and ensure they are allocated efficiently.
  • Negotiate with clients regarding project planning and execution.
  • Keep project documentation up-to-date, including project maps, safety files, and project lists.
  • Ensure commercial efficiency is maximized throughout all projects.
  • Promote and ensure implementation of company safety, environmental, and engineering procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and guidelines, performing other duties as reasonably requested.

Qualifications:

  • Interest in engineering and comfort working in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Degree in Naval Architecture, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (basic level).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (basic level).
  • Experience with FEM/other modeling software (desirable).
  • Full driving license.
