My client a leading regional law firm are seeking a paralegal with a background and interest in Residential Conveyancing dealing with residential conveyancing matters. This includes sales, purchases and re-mortgages of freehold and leasehold properties.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Solicitors in the team with their caseload of files and assist to make sure the requirements LEXCEL and CQS provisions or any other quality standards are met.
- You will be responsible for client contact, attending meetings for and with clients, advocating for clients\’ best interests, liaison with the court, experts, other parties in conjunction with the solicitor with conduct of each file
- Liaising with clients and via email and telephone
- Deal promptly and efficiently with all matters and tasks referred to you by the fee earners in a busy department
- Prepare various documentation for fee earners to assist in the preparation of client files
- Review and prepare documents for document production requests for solicitor e-bundles, e-bills and responding to client emails and uploading to the Case Management system
- Work with a variety of clients to offer high quality client care and service and being able to tailor communication to different client needs
- Utilise various communication tools to update the client on their case
- Continuously develop client engagement and be prepared to take instructions and, where appropriate, advise clients in person, by email or over the telephone
- Onboarding of clients by opening files and closing files
- Be proactive on files and deal with tasks using initiative

- Experience working as a Paralegal in Residential Conveyancing
- Excellent client care and client support skills
- Excellent communication skills are essential alongside strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work to deadlines, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
- Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
- High standard of verbal and numerical reasoning
- Ability to analyse, evaluate and communicate information logically
