Finance Design & Implementation Lead - Oracle Fusion Contract | Hybrid Working - Staffordshire | £944 per day (Inside IR35) An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Design & Implementation Lead to join a large-scale enterprise transformation programme.

Working as the functional lead for Finance, Procurement and Purchasing, you will play a key role in the design, configuration and successful implementation of a new cloud-based ERP solution.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring the solution meets business needs while adopting best practice processes.

The Role You'll take ownership of the finance workstream throughout the implementation lifecycle, from solution design through to go-live and post-implementation support.

Key responsibilities include: Leading the functional design of Finance, Purchasing and Procurement processes.

Acting as the subject matter expert between business stakeholders and the implementation partner.

Driving solution design workshops and challenging existing processes to maximise standard ERP functionality.

Supporting configuration activities across core finance modules.

Designing financial controls, approval workflows and governance processes.

Working with technical teams on integrations, reporting and chart of accounts design.

Leading data migration activities, including data cleansing and validation.

Defining reporting requirements and supporting business intelligence needs.

Leading finance testing activities including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Supporting cutover planning and ensuring operational readiness for go-live.

Working closely with change and training teams to support successful user adoption.

Identifying risks, resolving issues and ensuring successful delivery of the finance workstream.

Providing post-go-live support and driving continuous improvement.

About You We're looking for an experienced ERP finance professional who has successfully delivered complex transformation programmes within large, complex organisations.

You'll have: A professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

Proven experience delivering multiple end-to-end Oracle Cloud ERP Finance implementations.

Strong functional knowledge across Finance, Purchasing and Procurement modules.

Hands-on experience with configuration, solution design and business process improvement.

Experience designing Chart of Accounts, financial controls, approval workflows and integrations.

Strong understanding of UK finance, VAT and audit requirements.

Experience working alongside implementation partners and third-party suppliers.

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.

Experience leading workshops, process mapping and business change activities.

A collaborative, delivery-focused approach with excellent communication skills.

Experience working within highly regulated or complex organisations would be advantageous.
