Change Manager 2 Year Fixed Term Contract Location: Durham / Home (40% on site) Salary: £45,000 – £46,000 (+ excellent benefits including 28% pension contribution) We are looking to recruit a Change Manager for a leading public organisation. This role sits within the Change Delivery team and will play a key part in ensuring both transformation and business-as-usual changes are delivered effectively. This is an initial 2 year fixed term contract. As Change Manager, you\’ll act as the gatekeeper for change requests , ensuring they are clearly defined, properly assessed, and governed through the right approval channels. You\’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, programme teams, and delivery partners to ensure changes are aligned, funded, and delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Key responsibilities: Manage and control project and operational change requests through initiation, definition, and impact assessment stages Coordinate stakeholders and suppliers to ensure changes are assessed and approved in line with governance standards Produce and manage business cases to secure project funding Track and report on change status, risks, issues, and dependencies Chair and contribute to governance meetings, providing clear and accurate reporting Oversee the implementation of smaller/operational changes through the full lifecycle What we\’re looking for: Proven experience as a Change Manager (or Project Change Manager) within complex programmes Strong background in change control and governance, ideally in financial services or regulated environments Experience working in multi-supplier outsourced models (e.g. with large IT/consulting partners) Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and relationship-building skills Strong planning and organisational ability in fast-paced environments Knowledge of PRINCE2 or equivalent project/change management frameworks Change Management certification (e.g. APMG, Prosci) desirable TPBN1_UKTJ
