We're looking to recruit an SC Cleared Azure Cloud Engineer for a leading IT Consultancy. This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to work with modern technologies, learn from senior colleagues, and take on real responsibility in a supportive environment. This is a fully remote role with minimal travel. Due to the nature of projects, valid SC Clearance is essential.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting cloud and infrastructure services in Azure and on-prem environments
- Assisting in resolving incidents and service requests escalated from the Service Desk
- Collaborating with engineers and project teams to maintain secure and resilient systems
- Monitoring systems to ensure performance, availability, and compliance with SLAs
- Updating and maintaining support documentation and technical runbooks
- Supporting the transition of new systems from project teams into BAU
- Occasionally assisting with hands-on physical infrastructure tasks (e.g., hardware swaps)
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure, particularly IaaS and Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments (2012 R2 - 2022)
- Good understanding of Active Directory and core infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, GPO)
- Familiarity with Office 365 administration and setup
- Basic knowledge of virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Interest in or some experience with Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code
- Some scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell) is a plus
- Valid SC Clearance
