SC Cleared Data Governance Consultant (Inside IR35) About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SC Cleared Data Governance Consultant to join our team on a 6-month contract. You will be working on critical projects within the defence sector, contributing to the development and implementation of robust data governance frameworks. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures Conduct data quality assessments and identify improvement opportunities Manage data risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, DPA) Collaborate with stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability Provide guidance on data management best practices and methodologies Support data migration and integration activities Conduct data audits and reviews to assess compliance and effectivenessRequired Skills and Experience: Active SC clearance is essential Strong understanding of data governance principles and frameworks Certification in Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or similar is highly desirable Proven experience in data quality management and improvement Knowledge of data privacy regulations and industry standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsContract Details: Inside IR35 Daily rate: £500 – £550 per day Contract duration: 6 months Regular travel to a site in the Bristol area
