We are looking to recruit a Digital Product Owner for a technology driven public sector organisation. This is an excellent opportunity with a forward-thinking, technology-driven public sector organisation as they continue to evolve their digital capabilities, placing innovation, data and user experience at the centre of everything they do.
This is a hybrid role and you will be required to work on site in Brighton 6 days a month.
As a Digital Product Owner, you'll play a central role in a major transformation programme that’s modernising how data is gathered, analysed and used. Acting as the product lead across key internal and external digital services, you’ll shape the vision and own the roadmap.

What You’ll Be Doing- Championing the product vision and driving alignment with strategic goals.
- Leading the delivery of a key service that collects and analyses complex data.
- Shaping future improvements by collaborating across departments and transforming how data is gathered - from batch uploads to smarter, more targeted, API-enabled services.
- Acting as the connector between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring delivery aligns with user needs and compliance requirements.
- Building strong relationships across the organisation and influencing service direction with confidence and clarity.
- Taking full lifecycle ownership of the product: from ideation, design, prioritisation and delivery through to ongoing optimisation.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a digital environment, with a strong grasp of agile, user-centred delivery and product lifecycle ownership.
- Technical fluency: confident engaging in discussions about APIs, integrations, front-end/back-end architecture, and modern data workflows.
- Experience of shaping and delivering digital services, ideally with exposure to public sector or regulated environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - able to influence, translate complexity, and inspire confidence across both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A user-focused mindset with a passion for building intuitive, efficient and impactful services.
- Appreciation of working in a data-led environment - someone who can understand how data is sourced, used, and improved.
- Ideally, experience working in a regulatory, pensions, or data-heavy environment (though not essential).
