Virtual Construction Industry Intern

We are looking for a Virtual Construction Industry Intern to join our Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) team for a 12-month internship in our London – Hammersmith office. This is a unique opportunity to work on international projects, gain hands-on experience, and explore the latest cutting-edge 3D design, simulation and construction technologies.

Responsibilities

During this Internship project you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop prototypes of multidisciplinary building design components in CATIA, embedding fabrication and construction processes into reusable, generative assemblies
• Work within a Virtual Construction Twin (VCT) environment to help anticipate and resolve on-site challenges through virtual simulation and modeling
• Use ENOVIA web apps and DELMIA simulation tools to present embedded logic in clear, interactive ways to a variety of project partners
• Evaluate methods for assembling building models for construction, procurement, costing and KPIs

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with advanced Excel skills
• Experience with 3D Modeling, drawing production and parametric design (graphical programming is a plus)
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills in English
• Proven skills in systems thinking and logical problem-solving, with the capacity to recognize and analyze relationships between various elements
• Currently studying for or having a degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Mechanical/Structural Engineering, or related field is an advantage
• Strong organizational skills, combined with teamwork spirit and an innovative mindset
• Simulation and analysis experience is a strong plus
