As an R&D Cloud Operations Engineer, you will join a global team (Europe, India, USA) responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE Platform cloud services. You will contribute to designing, automating, and operating cutting‑edge infrastructure and deployment systems in a highly dynamic and international environment.
Role Description & Responsibilities
- Design and implement tools and solutions for managing large-scale, fault‑tolerant cloud infrastructure and services
- Participate in the design and deployment of fully automated cloud orchestration systems
- Operate and make live changes to cloud environments, ensuring 24/7 service availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents and production issues across global systems
- Support sovereign and dedicated customer deployments
- Contribute to the architectural evolution and development processes of cloud services
Qualifications
- Experience in infrastructure: networking, system architecture, operating systems, web protocols (HTTPS, DNS, proxies), and databases
- Working knowledge of AWS and cloud automation tools (Chef, Puppet)
- Familiar with Linux and scripting (Shell, Python)
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting technologies
- DevOps mindset with a passion for automation, incident response, and continuous improvement
