Senior Technical Revenue Recognition Analyst
Within the Corporate Finance Department, the Americas Revenue Recognition team manages revenue topics for Dassault Systèmes across North America and LATAM. Based in Paris, France, our global team collaborates across geographies to drive value.
You will join a dynamic team supporting sales in structuring contracts to ensure IFRS compliance. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a global software company in the era of AI and generative experiences.
Located at the 3DS Waltham campus with a hybrid work model, you will ensure revenue recognition for sales in accordance with IFRS 15/ASC 606, support deal negotiations, and optimize revenue outcomes.
Main responsibilities include:
- Review sales deals to determine proper revenue recognition treatment per IFRS 15/ASC 606
- Prepare quarterly review summaries of accounting treatments
- Identify significant revenue recognition issues and communicate findings to management
- Collaborate during deal negotiations to structure deals favorably while ensuring compliance
- Serve as a point of contact for revenue recognition topics within the group
- Support the \’Order-to-Cash\’ process adherence
- Assist in revenue adjustments and account reconciliations
- Participate in projects to improve revenue recognition processes
- Research technical accounting guidance and communicate updates
- Coordinate with auditors and provide training on revenue recognition rules
- Participate in due diligence for acquisitions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience
- Strong expertise in IFRS 15/ASC 606 and application in complex contracts
- Experience in software revenue recognition preferred
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business tools
- CPA license and experience with ERP systems are a plus
