Were looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to join our client and help deliver cutting-edge automation solutions across a range of sectors, including defence. If you have a passion for robotics and strong experience with Fanuc robotsincluding TP & Karel programming, Roboguide, and commissioningwe want to hear from you.
Youll be developing and integrating software across a diverse codebase and working with a wide variety of platforms (Fanuc, KUKA, Siemens, Beckhoff, and more). Projects range from simple single-task machines to complex, multi-robot systems using vision, cutting tools, and advanced safety systems.
What Were Looking For
- 3+ years experience programming Fanuc robots
- Proficient in Roboguide, TP & Karel
- Strong troubleshooting & commissioning skills
- STEM degree (engineering preferred)
- Curious, self-driven problem solver
- Willingness to travel
- British Citizen (DV clearance eligible)
Desirable: Siemens S7 & TIA Portal, motion control, IEC 61131-3 (ST), functional safety.

This role can be Hybrid, with regular travel required to offices in Bristol and Dorchester. You will be required to visit client sites, across a number of different sectors, including defence.
