ARAG UK, a market-leading insurance and legal services provider, has an exciting new opportunity for a Claims Team Leader to oversee the day to day operational performance of our Claims Team, based in our office in Central Bristol.
Ensuring the customer is at the heart of what we do, you will assist the team to provide a legal expenses claims handling service. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills, supporting and developing your team to progress and develop their careers but also to achieve targets, SLAs and deliver against initiatives. You’ll work with your team and other areas of the business (for example, the Customer Experience and Insights Team) to support our Claims Handlers to excel in their role, ensuring excellent customer service and proactive, early resolution of complaints.
This is a varied and interesting role, where you will enjoy responsibility for leading a team and also having the opportunity to showcase your technical knowledge as a reference point, so the ideal candidate will have experience in a Legal Expenses Insurance or General Insurance environment, but full training and support will be given. Most important is an ability to manage a workload, inspire confidence in your team and be proactive in sharing ideas and contribute to process improvements.
We'd like to hear from candidates who have knowledge of managing, or developing teams and who can be proactive in initiating and managing change. You'll have access to a wide array of management information and data including customer service feedback which will help you to drive change and continuous improvement for the business. As a Claims Team Leader you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of people at varying levels across the business. Excellent communication skills and an ability to motivate your team is therefore an important part of this role.
