ARAG have an exciting opportunity to join us on a fixed term contract to support our Supplier Audit function. The Supplier Audit function has a key role in providing assurance and insight to Senior Management and the Outsourcing Forum in relation to the whole of our BTE claims supply chain, involving interactions at all levels of the ARAG and suppliers’ organisations.

The Supply Chain Panel Auditor is responsible for assessing the performance of our legal panel to ensure they deliver exceptional service to our customers in accordance with their contractual and regulatory obligations, and their costs are managed in line with agreed fees/rate cards. This includes both on-site and remote audits which may be thematic or specific firm focused, and may be planned or reactive.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with planning, defining scope, preparation and execution of panel audits to drive compliance and service performance including:
  • Service performance in accordance with contractual obligations;
  • Claims payments and leakage;
  • Complaints, including accuracy of reporting and application of contractual/regulatory obligations;
  • Adherence to, and reporting of service levels;
  • Compliance with regulatory obligations including Consumer Duty & accuracy of associated reporting.
  • Clearly establish audit findings, compile actions and monitor to satisfactory conclusion.
  • Focus on changes which improve customer experience, claims leakage and customer complaints.
  • Work with the firms directly with the support of the Strategic Supply Chain Manager for Panel to ensure delivery of Audit Actions within the set timeframes.
  • Qualifications:
    • Good attention to detail, in particular with reference to measuring performance against contractual/regulatory requirements.
    • Ability to demonstrate good understanding of outsourcing risks and controls.
    • An aptitude for challenging panel firm's performance and MI and collating and analysing resultant information.
    • Strong understanding of claims and/or supplier management relating to Legal Expenses Insurance.
    • Able to work at pace whilst maintaining an accurate, high quality output.
    • Persistence in following audit actions through to conclusion.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in relation to clearly capturing and articulating audit actions.
    • Ability to face and respond to challenge from suppliers.
    • Excellent relationship building skills (in respect of both external firms and internal stakeholders including Product Governance, Strategic Partnerships/Account Management, and Legal).
    • An ability to maintain resilience when dealing with difficult and demanding situations, in particular firms during audit activity.
