1st Line Engineer in Bristol

We are looking for a First Line Engineer to join our Bristol based Digital team, supporting the delivery of a stable, reliable and compliant service to the business, end-users, and selected business partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Service Desk and 2nd Line Manager to resolve incidents and manage service requests through our Fresh IT Service management solution.
• Providing technical support across hardware, software and networks.
• Collaborating with the wider Operations team to drive continuous improvement and deliver exceptional service to all users of IT across UK, Ireland and Canada regions and third parties.
• Solving customer’s problems and understanding our internal customer’s needs.

Essential Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Proactive, problem‑solving approach.
• Experience supporting end‑user devices and Windows 11.
• Customer‑focused with good time management.
• Experience with Microsoft 365; awareness of Azure.
• Passion for technology and continuous learning.

Desirable Qualifications

• Financial Services experience.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g. MCP/MCSE).
• Exposure to Intune or Autopilot.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and core services.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Awareness of containerised applications.
