We are seeking an experienced Construction Monitoring Engineer to support site-based oversight of solar and/or BESS projects on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor H&S practices and site safety conditions (non-audit role)
- Track construction progress against the EPC programme
- Review installation quality, subcontractor supervision, and compliance with design, ERs, and good industry practice
- Verify adherence to quality control procedures
- Review site security and general site conditions
- Provide written site visit reports and contribute to the project risk register
Interface & Information
- Work closely with the Client and EPC Contractor during regular site visits
- Review EPC construction programmes, progress updates, and monthly reports
- Attend site inductions and regular briefings on ongoing works
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years experience in renewable energy projects
- 3+ years experience in solar and/or BESS projects
- Degree or background in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Proven experience supervising EPC construction quality
