Project focus
Our client, a global energy trading organisation, is migrating its Altairx ETRM platform to an on-premises Azure cloud environment. They’re looking for a Solution Architect to lead the technical design and delivery of this migration, working closely with trading, risk and operations stakeholders throughout.
Key skills and Experience required
- Proven Solution Architecture experience in Energy Trading / Commodity Trading environments
- Hands-on experience with Altairx or a similar ETRM/CTRM platform, including migration projects
- Strong Azure cloud experience, particularly on-prem / hybrid Azure deployments
- Solid Python skills for scripting, automation and integration
- Experience working with trading, risk and operations stakeholders in energy/commodities
- Ideally, prior experience with a major energy trading house (e.g. BP, Shell, TotalEnergies, Equinor, Vitol, Trafigura, Mercuria, Gunvor)
- Available to start by 1 October 2026
