Would you like to shape the batch architecture of a complex pharmaceutical/chemical production environment using SIMATIC Batch and ISA-88 standards? Our client is currently entering a critical phase of their automation program where batch architecture needs to be standardized across multiple process units. The main challenge will be establishing a robust ISA-88 aligned structure that enables scalability, maintainability, and recipe-driven production across future expansions. You will play a key role in defining the architectural foundation that other engineers will build upon.
I'm looking for someone who:
- Extensive experience with Siemens PCS7
- Strong expertise in SIMATIC Batch
- Proven experience designing ISA-88 batch architectures
- Experience in pharmaceutical or chemical batch environments
- Ability to design Process Cells, Units, Equipment Modules, and Control Modules
- Strong understanding of recipe-driven automation concepts
- Experience acting as Batch Architect, Lead Engineer, or Technical Authority
- Experience working in GMP or regulated environments
- Ability to define standards, templates, and reusable module concepts
