Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing boutique finance consultancy based in London known for providing hands-on commercial and financial expertise to senior finance teams. Their work spans transactions (M&A, disposals, refinancing), operational improvement (modelling, forecasting, reporting), and commercial initiatives (costing, procurement, contract negotiation).

  • Candidates from audit transitioning into industry or consulting will do well

Role and Reporting Lines

Reporting to a Project Lead, you will work in small project teams on a wide range of consulting assignments:

  • Project Delivery – Deliver outputs as part of 1–2 client-facing engagements, aligned with agreed project plans
  • Problem Solving – Diagnose and resolve issues in client finance teams and operations
  • Client Engagement – Communicate insights clearly to clients and support relationship development
  • Training & Development – Receive structured guidance and coaching to build technical and commercial capabilities
  • Internal Contribution – Support firm-wide initiatives and help build out consulting tools and frameworks
  • Business Development – Contribute to lead generation, research, and proposal preparation
  • Mentoring – Support and mentor junior team members as you progress
  • Cross-Sector Exposure – Gain experience across sectors including private equity, corporates, and public bodies
