Our client is a rapidly growing and highly regarded finance consultancy. The firm provides hands‐on finance and commercial expertise to finance directors, private equity‐backed businesses, listed corporates, public sector organisations, and charities during periods of significant change and transformation.
The business has delivered projects across areas including transactions, operational improvement, cash flow modelling, forecasting, finance transformation, procurement, and commercial strategy. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to hire a Consultant to join their expanding team.

You will work directly with experienced senior professionals across transactions, operational improvement initiatives, and strategic commercial projects.

This role would suit a qualified accountant currently working in advisory, transactions, consulting, or commercially focused finance roles who is seeking broader exposure and a client‐facing opportunity.
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- 1–3 years PQE with experience delivering projects in fast‐paced environments
- Strong Excel and financial modelling capabilities with the ability to manipulate and analyse complex data
- Experience within transactions, consultancy, advisory, or commercial finance environments beneficial
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels
- Commercial mindset with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights
Reporting to the Project Lead, the Consultant will work across a variety of client assignments and commercial projects within a collaborative and high‐performing advisory team.
Project Delivery – Deliver client assignments across transactions, operational improvement, forecasting, and strategic finance initiatives
Client Engagement – Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver agreed outputs and manage project deliverables
Financial Modelling – Build and develop integrated financial models, forecasting tools, and scenario analysis
Commercial Analysis – Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and business improvement opportunities
Stakeholder Management – Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders and clients
Business Development – Support proposal preparation, lead generation activities, and relationship development with clients
Team Collaboration – Work closely with senior consultants and provide support and guidance to junior team members where required
Continuous Improvement – Contribute to internal initiatives, product development, and ongoing enhancement of advisory capabilities
