This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to take ownership of a key finance function in a growing business. The role involves leading a small team, working closely with the Head of Finance, and playing a central part in improving systems and processes. This role will be suited to candidates with:
- 7+ yearsβ experience in Accounts Payable roles
- Experience managing or supervising a small finance team
- Strong process improvement and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-volume environment
This role reports to the Head of Finance and will lead a team of three in the AP function.
Leadership β Manage and support a team of 4 Accounts Payable professionals
Processes β Drive improvements and efficiencies in the AP process
Reporting β Oversee weekly and monthly reporting of AP performance metrics
Systems β Work with finance systems to ensure accuracy, compliance and efficiency
Stakeholder Management β Build strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers
Month-End β Assist with month-end close processes relating to payables
Compliance β Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies
Support Projects β Support the Head of Finance in wider finance projects and initiatives
