About the Role
We are looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist / Sales Receptionist to join our team at one of Darwin Escapes’ beautiful holiday destinations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service while supporting sales activities.
As a Receptionist / Sales Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless experience throughout their stay. You will also promote the park, support holiday & ownership sales enquiries, and help maximise revenue opportunities in a fast‑paced environment.
This is a full‑time position working variable days, including weekends and bank holidays.
Location: Station Road, Talacre
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests on arrival and provide a friendly and professional check‑in experience
- Handle guest enquiries, in person, over the phone, and via email
- Manage bookings, payments, and reservations using internal systems
- Promote holiday bookings, upgrades, and additional services to maximise revenue
- Respond to sales enquiries and provide information on holiday packages and ownership opportunities
- Support the sales team by generating and passing on qualified leads
- Upsell park facilities, special offers, and local experiences where appropriate
- Provide information about the park, local area, and available facilities
- Handle guest feedback and resolve queries or issues promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure accommodation readiness
- Process check‑outs efficiently and accurately
- Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable reception area
- Support administrative tasks and daily reception operations
- Follow all company procedures, including data protection and health & safety
