Job Description
Location: Kilnwick Road, Pocklington
We are looking for a Night Porter to join our team at Kilnwick Percy Resort in Pocklington, Yorkshire.
Great hourly rate of £12.21.
This is a 6 Month Fixed Term position to work full time hours. 40 hours across 4 variable days, which will include weekends and bank holidays. Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

About The Role
Main responsibilities
- Be responsible for the security of the Clubhouse and guest accommodation and welfare during the night.
- Conduct regular security checks, ensuring that the premises are safe and secure and any defects are reported to Management.
- Follow correct procedures in the event of an emergency.
- Answer internal and external telephone calls.
- Check in any late arrivals and manage early departures.
- Set up for Breakfast or following day functions.
- Assist in clearing down evening functions, ensuring guests leave promptly and safely.
- Provide overnight support to guests and respond to queries and emergency calls.
- Deal with any guest queries or complaints in a professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Clean the Restaurant and function suite to a high standard.
Requirements
Similar previous experience is an advantage. A current SIA licence is desirable; however, training for this can be provided. A positive work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills is desirable. A driving licence is preferred for travel to the resort.
