We are looking for a Lifeguard to join our team at New Pines Holiday Park in Rhyl, Denbighshire. This is a seasonal full-time position working variable days, including weekends and bank holidays. Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business. NPLQ is essential for the role; pool plant experience is preferred.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work within the Leisure team to ensure the pool and leisure areas operate safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular checks of the pool and the changing areas.
- Be on the lookout for any hazards or issues and ensure that these are dealt with.
- Observe swimmers and spectators.
- Check plant and carry out pool water tests regularly.
- Check and record all guest passes.
- Advise guests on current activity programmes.
- Record any accidents and administer first aid, as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- A current NPLQ is desirable but not essential.
- A full UK driving license and the ability to drive is advantageous to enable you to get to and from the resort easily.
