Park Manager – Darwin Escapes

Location: The Hele Bay, Beach Road, Ilfracombe, Devon.

We are looking for a Park Manager to join our team at Beach Cove Coastal Retreat in Ilfracombe, Devon. This retreat is surrounded by lush, well‑maintained grounds and offers a relaxing location for holiday and short breaks. The role is permanent, full‑time (40 hours across five variable days including weekends and bank holidays) and does not include on‑site accommodation.

Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business; this role includes on‑call hours on a rota basis which will be discussed upon application.

About The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Estate & Grounds Oversight: Direct involvement in grounds keeping, ensuring all external areas are presented to the highest standard.
• Essential Maintenance Support: Assisting with general maintenance tasks, managing minor repairs, and coordinating external contractors for larger issues.
• Hot Tub Management: Overseeing maintenance, chemical balance, and cleaning procedures for all guest hot tubs.
• Reception & Guest Services: Supporting the front‑of‑house team, assisting with guest arrivals and departures, and handling queries with a positive, solutions‑focused approach.
• Team Coordination: Leading by example, allocating daily tasks, and ensuring all departmental checklists are completed efficiently and to standard.

Previous management experience is essential.

Requirements

• Right to live and work in the UK.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Driving licence and ability to drive is an advantage for travel to and from the retreat.
