We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven General Manager to lead our team at Talacre Beach Resort, one of Darwin Escapes’ popular coastal destinations in North Wales.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong operational leader with proven sales awareness and site management experience to take full responsibility for a busy and diverse holiday resort. It is a permanent full‑time position working 40 hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays.

Talacre Beach Resort is a vibrant coastal holiday park offering a mix of holiday home ownership, holiday accommodation and on‑site leisure facilities. Located close to the North Wales coastline, the resort attracts a wide range of guests and owners looking for both relaxation and a lively holiday experience. With multiple operational departments including accommodation, grounds, leisure and food and beverage, this is a fast‑paced and varied environment where strong leadership is essential to deliver consistently high standards. Role Responsibilities

  • Leading the day‑to‑day operations across all resort departments
  • Driving commercial performance and supporting sales activity
  • Working closely with the Sales team to enhance the customer journey and maximise revenue
  • Managing budgets, monitoring spend and ensuring financial targets are met
  • Leading, developing and motivating departmental teams
  • Ensuring high standards of presentation, service and compliance across the park
  • Conducting regular park walks and operational audits
  • Managing customer feedback and ensuring an excellent guest experience

About You

  • Previous experience in a General Manager or senior leadership role within hospitality, leisure or holiday parks
  • Strong sales awareness and commercial understanding
  • Proven site or multi‑department management experience
  • Experience managing budgets and operational performance
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • A hands‑on, proactive and solutions‑focused approach
  • A driving licence is desirable due to the nature of the role
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom
