Hourly rate: £12.21
This is a seasonal position to work part time hours. During peak periods you will work Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and off peak you will work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Typical working hours will be 9:00am - 6:00pm, flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.
Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure. This will be paid by Darwin Escapes.
About The Role
As a Craft Centre Instructor, you’ll be at the heart of creating fun, engaging, and memorable experiences for our guests. You’ll organise and deliver a variety of activities, ensuring each session is safe, enjoyable, and reflective of our resort’s high standards.
Your Key Duties Will Include:
- Organising and leading a wide range of activities, including seasonal arts & crafts sessions, pottery classes, and other creative experiences.
- Setting up, maintaining, and safely packing away all equipment and materials used in activities.
- Ensuring activity areas and retail outlets are well-presented, fully stocked, and merchandised to brand standards.
- Identifying and resolving any operational or guest-related issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintaining full compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative individual who enjoys engaging with people and delivering high-quality guest experiences.
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within hospitality, leisure, or recreation.
- A confident, friendly personality with strong communication skills.
- A proactive approach and attention to detail.
- A full UK driving licence is advantageous, as it may be required to travel to and from the resort.
