Job Description

We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Assistants to join our team at Bath Mill Lodge Retreat, one of Darwin Escapes\’ beautiful holiday destinations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and takes pride in delivering great service. You will play an important role in creating a positive experience for our guests by providing food and drink service in a professional, welcoming and efficient manner.

This is a hands‑on role, ideal for someone who is a strong team player, enjoys working with people and is looking to gain experience within a supportive and growing business.

This is a fixed term position working 20 hours per week, including days and evenings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient and professional food and beverage service
• Prepare and serve food and drinks in line with company standards
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all service areas
• Set up and close down areas in line with standard operating procedures
• Operate tills and handle payments in accordance with procedures
• Ensure all stock is well maintained, rotated and replenished
• Support with bookings and guest enquiries where required
• Handle guest feedback or queries in a positive and professional manner
• Work as part of a team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
• A positive, friendly and approachable attitude
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• A reliable and flexible approach to work
• A genuine passion for delivering a great guest experience

Additional Information

This role is based within a busy hospitality environment and will involve standing for extended periods. The role may also involve lifting or moving equipment and supplies where required.
