Hourly rate: £12.21. Seasonal part‑time position with variable hours across five days, including weekends and bank holidays. Flexibility is essential. Successful applicants must provide enhanced disclosure (handed by Darwin Escapes).
About The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Activity Instructor to join our Leisure team and help deliver a fun, engaging, and safe programme of activities for our guests.
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Leisure team to plan, organise, and deliver a variety of activities for guests of all ages.
- Lead and assist with popular sessions such as mini jet skis, water walkers, archery, and other exciting experiences.
- Carry out regular inspections of all leisure and activity areas to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Ensure that equipment is used safely, properly maintained, and stored securely after use.
- Monitor and manage guest access, checking and recording guest passes accurately.
- Provide clear guidance and information to guests about the daily and weekly activity programmes, promoting participation and enthusiasm.
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues or safety concerns quickly and effectively.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, recording accidents accurately and administering First Aid when required.
- Uphold all health, safety, and safeguarding regulations to ensure a secure and enjoyable environment for both guests and colleagues.
- Support with poolside duties and general leisure operations as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar activity, leisure, or recreation role is preferred.
- A current NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) is desirable but not essential.
- First Aid and Pool Plant qualifications are advantageous.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a strong focus on guest safety and satisfaction.
- A full UK driving licence is advantageous due to the resort’s location.

- Right to live and work in the UK.
Desired Criteria
- A driving licence and the ability to drive to enable easy travel to and from the resort.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
