Classroom Teacher 32.5 Hours per week, Full Time Fixed Term until 31st August 2027 All Year Round - 52 Weeks. Initially placed in Reception Class. Darwen St James’ is a small Voluntary Aided Church of England Primary Academy, situated in the heart of Darwen. We are seeking to recruit a Class Teacher to work primarily in Reception Class but is subject to change.

The ideal candidate will be able to teach all aspects of the primary curriculum and demonstrate good classroom practice. They will be keen to learn, a team player, self-motivated, have high expectations of themselves and others, be child centred and be able to stay positive - even when times are challenging.
