Dartry Search is partnering with a leading global institutional asset manager to appoint an HR Generalist following continued business growth.
This is an opportunity to broaden your experience within an established investment management business, gaining exposure to best-practice HR and learning directly from an experienced HR Director.
Reporting to the HR Director, you will support the full employee lifecycle, combining day-to-day HR delivery with involvement in wider people initiatives.
The breadth of the role offers scope to build your judgement, develop stronger relationships with the business and take on increasing responsibility.
- What you’ll do
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and offboarding, providing a responsive service to employees and managers.
- Contribute to performance reviews, talent development and learning initiatives, working with the HR Director to support employee development and management capability.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, producing reports and insights to support workforce planning and people decisions.
- Help improve HR policies, processes and ways of working, while contributing to projects across the people agenda and coordinating with external employment providers where required.
- What you’ll bring
- A solid grounding in HR, typically gained over four to seven years, ideally within financial services or technology.
- Broad experience supporting the employee lifecycle, with sound judgement and confidence handling sensitive information.
- The ability to build effective relationships with employees and managers, balancing a personable approach with clear, practical advice.
- An organised, curious approach, with the confidence to take ownership, ask questions and develop your capability across a broad remit.
Confidence with Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, familiarity with HR systems and exposure to reporting tools such as Power BI would be useful, but are not essential.
