Are you in the early stages of your M&A career and looking to move in-house for hands-on experience on the buy side? We’re working with a PE-backed financial services Business that’s actively acquiring businesses across the UK and Europe. As part of their ambitious growth strategy, they’re looking to add a driven and analytical M&A Analyst to their corporate development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the evaluation of acquisition opportunities through market research and financial analysis
  • Assist in building valuation models and preparing investment materials
  • Help coordinate due diligence processes with internal teams and external advisors
  • Contribute to transaction execution, including reviewing legal documentation and supporting integration planning
  • Track and report on post-deal performance to inform future strategy

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–2 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, or in-house corporate development (e.g. investment banking, PE portfolio company, or boutique advisory)
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a desire to learn in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
  • Experience in financial services or FIG transactions is a plus, but not essential
