Are you an M&A professional from an investment banking or advisory background looking to move in-house and work on the buy side? We’re working with a highly acquisitive, PE-backed financial services group executing a large volume of strategic acquisitions as part of an ambitious buy-and-build strategy. With M&A at the heart of their growth model, they’re expanding their corporate development team with a high-calibre Associate.
What you’ll do:
- Support senior M&A leaders in evaluating acquisition opportunities across the UK and Europe
- Engage directly with business owners to articulate the value of partnership
- Lead financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence processes
- Manage transactions from LOI through to close, including legal documentation and integration planning
- Track and analyse post-deal performance to inform future strategy
What we’re looking for:
- 2–4 years of M&A experience from a top-tier investment bank, boutique advisory firm, or Big 4 corporate finance team
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume deal environment
- Experience with FIG (Financial Institutions Group) deals is advantageous but not essential
