We have partnered with a boutique multi-strategy hedge fund who are seeking an experienced investor relations professional to ensure seamless investor service, maintaining data integrity and executing all logistical and reporting requirements for their funds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investment Reporting Management: Oversee the end‑to‑end coordination, production, and secure distribution of all quarterly and annual investor reporting, including performance updates, factsheets, due‑diligence materials, and tax/K‑1 statements, working closely with Fund Administrators and Investment teams.
- CRM Ownership: Take full ownership of the Investor Relations CRM—ensuring accurate, timely, and complete input of all investor interactions, pipeline activity, and meeting documentation.
- Investor Data Accuracy: Maintain and continually enhance the quality of all investor static data across five funds, including contact information, allocations, commitment amounts, and legal/reporting requirements.
- Due Diligence Support: Lead the preparation, customisation, and submission of Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and RFPs for prospective investors and consultants.
- Document Review: Conduct detailed proofreading of all external communications—newsletters, presentations, performance materials, and DDQs—ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with approved regulatory wording.
- Compliance Coordination: Serve as the main liaison with the firm’s Compliance Officer to ensure all investor‑facing materials are reviewed and approved.
- External Partner Liaison: Act as the primary day‑to‑day contact for Fund Administrators, Custodians, legal/compliance advisors, and third‑party placement agents.
- Investor Meeting Coordination: Manage all logistics for investor and prospect meetings, conferences, and roadshows—virtual and in‑person—including scheduling across time zones, preparing materials, and coordinating travel for the COO and Partners.
- Query Handling: Respond promptly and professionally to inbound investor and prospect enquiries, delivering a high‑touch service experience.
- Marketing Support: Work with the Head of Marketing to update, maintain, and tailor core marketing collateral.
- Autonomous Delivery: Operate as a proactive self‑starter capable of managing multiple priorities independently within a lean boutique environment.
- Internal Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with investment and non‑investment teams to support business operations.
- Ad‑Hoc Projects: Contribute to operational initiatives, systems enhancements, and process improvement projects as needed.
Role Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Investor Relations or Marketing/Ops within a hedge fund
