We are working with a global investment platform seeking an immediately available interim operations professional to support their private credit and asset-based finance (ABF) strategies. This is a hands-on role focused on deal execution and portfolio coordination across a range of structured credit products — including loans, CLOs, bonds, and FX — working closely with internal deal teams, treasury, finance, and legal, as well as external agents and counsel.

Please note: This role is not suited to candidates with purely fund administration or vanilla direct lending experience. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of structured, multi-layered credit transactions such as ABF, CLOs, and securitised lending structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end coordination of deal closings, capital flows, and post-close lifecycle tracking
  • Act as the key interface between internal functions (deal, legal, treasury, finance) and external stakeholders (counsel, agents, administrators)
  • Support capital call preparation, pipeline reporting, cash flow modelling, and reconciliation across a complex credit portfolio
  • Contribute to process improvement projects and support systems migration initiatives related to trade and portfolio data flows
  • Maintain and enhance internal SOPs to ensure operational accuracy and best practice
Ideal Candidate
  • Strong background in credit operations or middle office, ideally from a private credit fund, structured finance platform, or asset manager
  • Proven experience working on ABF transactions, CLOs, or other structured/securitised credit instruments
  • Deep understanding of the trade lifecycle, booking, and cash movement in multi-party financing structures
  • Confident liaising across internal teams and managing relationships with external counsel, fund administrators, and agents
  • Proficient in Excel and familiar with fund and trade systems (e.g. Geneva, Linedata, Wall Street Office); adaptable to new platforms
  • Candidate will be available immediately or at short notice.
