We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Manager to join a growing Private Credit team within a leading investment management firm. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to gain exposure to a dynamic asset class and take ownership of key accounting and reporting processes across a diverse portfolio of private credit investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for private credit vehicles, including loan portfolios, SPVs and associated investment structures.
- Support the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (UK GAAP/IFRS).
- Perform loan-level reconciliations, interest accrual calculations and covenant monitoring.
- Liaise with external administrators, auditors and service providers to ensure high-quality deliverables and timely reporting.
- Contribute to cash management, capital activity processing, and oversight of borrower payments, drawdowns and distributions.
- Assist with compliance and regulatory filings as required (FCA, tax, AIFMD).
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance controls and improve reporting efficiency.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with demonstrated post qualified experience.
- Experience within the private credit industry is essential.
- Strong technical accounting skills, with a solid understanding of key financial instruments and debt-related accounting concepts.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
