We have recently been engaged by a private equity firm that specialises in the European lower-mid market, seeking an IR Analyst to join their dynamic growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Investor Relations: Help with fundraising efforts by updating and managing data room materials like presentations, DDQs and case studies. Keep track of the marketing calendar, ensuring all investor meetings and events are scheduled and necessary materials are prepared. Assist with organising the annual investor meeting, including updating presentations and coordinating with the team. Work with the Finance Team to manage investor queries and support communications, such as fund extensions. Complete industry surveys regularly to gain access to important reports. Track industry trends and competitors to help understand the firm's market position.
  • Marketing: Collaborate with the Marketing Lead to create materials for investor communications (e.g., transaction updates, press releases). Help produce quarterly and annual reports for investors. Contribute to creating the Annual Responsibility Report by collecting survey results and designing visuals.
  • Business Development: Maintain and update the firm’s CRM system, including investor research and profiles. Support the due diligence process for potential investors and ensure all information requests are answered quickly. Represent the firm at industry events and conferences when needed. Assist in reaching out to new potential investors through research and networking.
  • Investments: Stay updated on all transactions and portfolios, ensuring you're well-informed for external communications. Share weekly investment updates based on team meetings.

Desired Experience Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in either audit, placement agent, investment banking, or IR.
  • ACA qualified, highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of or exposure to private equity is helpful but not required.
  • Good financial acumen.
  • Self-starter attitude.
  • Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written English.
