Investment Banking Vice President M&A Advisory (US Global Independent) Business Services Sector. Based in London.

Our client, a leading US global independent investment bank, is actively hiring a Vice President (VP level depending on experience) to join their growing Business Services (mergers and acquisitions/ M&A) team in London. The Business Services team has built a strong reputation covering professional services in particular (legal, accountancy and tech services businesses) and has delivered a number of sector defining transactions in recent years. The team mostly does sell-side M&A (including large cap work (ie Β£1B+) and is doing more work with PLCs. Understanding UK takeover code and having a wider knowledge of multiple products, Public to Private transaction experience etc, is advantageous.

Requirements for consideration:

  • 5-7 years experience working in a full service (ideally Bulge Bracket) investment bank or leading Independent platform in London. (While already covering Business Services is advantageous, our client is open to considering other sector backgrounds.)
  • Fundamental understanding of financial valuation methodologies, and applications.
  • Excellent Financial modelling and analytical abilities.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work streams effectively, delivering high quality work on schedule.
  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • High resilience, willingness to learn and enthusiasm.

The team has an exceptionally strong track record in the market and the work involved will be predominately deal execution focused.
