A Private Equity-backed Industrials business with an international footprint is seeking a Head of Corporate Development to lead their buy-and-build strategy.

Based in London and reporting to the CEO and Board, you will lead a small team and take overall responsibility for end-to-end M&A, from target identification and screening, through execution phases to completion.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Corporate Development leader looking to play a key role in a high-growth and ambitious company where M&A is central to its value-creation plan.

The successful candidate will likely have:

  • 12+ years of experience with a combination of investment banking/ advisory and in-house Corporate Development experience
  • Prior experience working with a PE-backed business (or significant exposure to PE as an advisor)
  • Industrial and/or B2B Services sector experience
  • A track record of originating and executing both small bolt-on acquisitions and larger, more transformational deals
  • International/ cross-border deal experience
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the EQ to win 'hearts and minds' both internally and externally
  • A hands-on and 'lead from the front' approach
  • Fluency in another European language would be advantageous
