An M&A Manager responsible for the identification, sourcing and execution of investments in support of the Group M&A Strategy. This role encapsulates finance, strategy, deal execution and the development of competitive acquisition proposals. It is a pivotal position in the M&A team working closely with the Senior M&A Manager and Executive Director of M&A in transaction execution, leading best practice delivery to the business and creating powerful and practical M&A management information.

This role will require someone to execute on Corporate Strategy through transactional expertise including valuation, process design and project management, advisor selection, deal structuring and negotiation. You will need to work closely with divisional functional heads, build and maintain strong working relationships whilst collaborating cross functionally across multiple business partners spanning different group functions, operational teams and external advisers.

Responsibilities

The job purpose is to support in the identification, sourcing and execution of M&A and other investment opportunities that align to the Groups strategic direction.

Desired Experience

Chartered Accountant with at least 2 years of transactional experience that could be gained across Transaction Services, M&A Advisory or Corporate Development. An Investment Banker, with at least 2 years of M&A experience, ideally a mid-market bank.
