We are currently supporting a Private Equity-backed Pharmaceutical on an Associate Director, M&A hire as they look to expand their portfolio through in-organic growth. In this role you will be joining an established and high-performing team. Therefore, it is essential you are able to demonstrate examples working part of a Life Sciences/ Pharmaceutical M&A function.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct primary and secondary market research to identify and evaluate marketed and pre-commercial stage targets.
  • Sizing in-licensing and acquisition opportunities as well as lifecycle opportunities using public domain databases, epidemiology, reviewing published clinical literature, analyzing pricing information and performing competitive landscape analysis.
  • Support both Commercial and Financial Due Diligence activities through independent work and broader project management of other advisors.
  • Build and analyse complex financial models and evaluations.
  • Maintaining the M&A pipeline.

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years experience in M&A, Investment Banking, or Strategic Finance within the Pharmaceutical/ Life Sciences industry.
  • Financial modelling and evaluation expertise.
  • Excellent business acumen with the ability to assess the strategic impact of transactions.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Pan-European transactions experience is a strong preference.
  • Degree in a Life Sciences discipline is preferred but not essential.
