Our client is hiring a French‑trained Accountant to join their London finance team on a temp‑to‑perm basis. This role is perfect for someone who is French‑speaking, trained in France, and confident working across both French GAAP and UK GAAP.
The Role
- You will act as the key coordinator between our UK and French finance activities, ensuring high‑quality review and compliance across both jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Review and oversee work completed by the UK Accounts Assistant
- Month‑end coordination including journals, reconciliations, and reviews
- Liaise with the UK AR team (MA and AR specialist)
- Ensure smooth month‑end close for the UK and support process improvements
- Oversee French entity accounting
- Work closely with external French accountants to review their work and ensure compliance with French GAAP
- Ensure accurate reporting through NetSuite
Qualifications
- Trained in France, with strong knowledge of French GAAP
- Solid experience with UK GAAP
- Confident reviewing others’ work and ensuring accuracy
- Strong communicator comfortable working across UK and France
- Available to start ASAP
- Happy with a temp‑to‑perm arrangement
