Dartmoor National Park Authority works in partnership with local and national stakeholders to conserve and enhance Dartmoor as a vibrant, living, working landscape and community teeming with natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage. We promote opportunities for the public to understand and enjoy the special qualities of Dartmoor National Park, whilst also promoting the economic and social wellbeing of local communities.
This is a part-time (22hrs/wk) position (0.6FTE), for a fixed term until 31 March 2029, subject to funding. The role is based at the Dartmoor National Park Authority (DNPA) offices at Parke.
The Role
As Dartmoor FiPL Programme Officer, you will play a key role in delivering the Farming in Protected Landscapes programme across Dartmoor. Acting as a first point of contact for farmers, land managers and applicants, you will provide guidance and practical support to help develop high-quality funding applications that deliver meaningful outcomes for people, nature, climate and place. This includes ensuring projects support the delivery of priorities identified in the National Park Partnership Plan.
