Darthaven Marina is located in the stunning South Hams countryside, surrounded by rolling hills and in a truly tranquil setting. Our impressive 270 berth marina has grown over the past 30 years, and we continue to pride ourselves in the first-class service we provide to our berth holders, visitors and customers.
We’re currently looking for a Parts Assistant to join us on a full-time, permanent basis and deliver a first-class service to customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with experience in parts or retail and knowledge of marine or automotive engineering to join a fantastic organisation. What will I be doing?
As a Parts Assistant, you’ll deliver a high-quality service to customers in person and through telephone, email and online channels. Supporting our appointed dealership brands, you will work with Volvo Penta, Suzuki Marine, Yanmar and Williams Jet Tenders, among other associated engine and outboard brands. You will also be responsible for accurate stock picking, our stock management system (Sage 200), dispatching the appropriate parts to customers and, above all, providing an exceptional customer experience.
What do I need?
- Proven experience in parts or retail, preferably in the maritime or automotive industries
- Knowledge of marine or automotive engineering parts, accessories, and equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of inventory management software and MS Office
- A full, manual driving licence
