This is a factory shop-floor based role, working as part of a team you will have a varied role working on the production of a wide range of products.
Key Responsibilities
- Prep items according to supplied specifications and procedures.
- Complete assembly production steps once trained using relevant tools.
- Maintain all associated prep equipment to ensure they remain in good working order.
- Ensure all air tools are oiled on a daily basis.
- Ensure any materials used on the shop floor and in the production processes are handled and used in a responsible manner.
- Follow required operational processes to ensure that a quality product is achieved and minimal secondary work is required.
General Responsibilities
- To always work in a tidy manner.
- To operate machinery and work in a safe manner considerate of your colleagues and health & safety procedures.
- Ensure that all chemicals and materials are stored and used in a safe manner.
- Clean working area on a regular basis through the day in line with cleaning processes and procedures.
- Adhere to both the company and any customer’s site drug & alcohol policy.
- Represent DCL in a professional manner both in the factory and on customers’ site.
Skills Required
- Previous experience of using hand tools and/or power tools would be highly desirable.
General standard factory opening hours are 7am – 3.30 pm Monday – Friday.
