You will work with Kent County Council, Parish and Town Councils, the Police, Community Payback, volunteer groups and others to improve the standard of the street scene in Dartford. The role involves contributing to the development of the Council's contracted services in accordance with resident aspirations, councillors’ priorities, and current legislation and guidance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, monitor and manage contracts for refuse collection, recycling, street cleaning, graffiti removal, public convenience cleaning and other works.
- Ensure all works are carried out satisfactorily and on schedule, meeting health and safety and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain close liaison with residents, contractors and stakeholders to resolve service‑related issues within agreed timescales.
- Guarantee that required levels of service are delivered within available resources.
Qualifications
- Enthusiastic and motivated individual.
- Own a car.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
